Olympians Share Their Stories Panel
Are you an Olympian? Are you a coach or work with Olympians and the
Olympics in some avenue? Or do you aspire to be an Olympian or service
provider? Or how about being a fan of the Olympics? This panel is for you and
will focus on your issues. Though the topic will cross over into high school,
collegiate, women, professional, the issues that face the Olympics and
Olympians are very unique and this panel will detail those specific
discussions.
In this panel, gay and lesbian Olympians tell their remarkable stories of
success - overcoming all obstacles, and succeeding despite the odds. The
panelists will share their philosophies on how to be successful in sport and
in life in the face of widespread cultural homophobia.
