In conjunction with
PrideSportsBoston
member sports and
LGBT Aunts and Uncles, we will be putting together
clinics for youth to get a sampling of sports from accomplished athletes.
About the LGBT Aunts and Uncles,

The LGBT Aunts and Uncles program matches children of LGBT parents, with
LGBT and allied adult volunteers who serve as adult companions and mentors to
the children.
The program creates a way for LGBT parents to augment their children1s
network of caring adults, capitalizes on the LGBT community1s rich, untapped
resource of LGBT persons who don1t want to be parents but desire a meaningful
relationship with a child, and provides children with a greater sense of
connection and belonging to, as well as support from, the LGBT community.
Aunts and Uncles and children decide together what they would enjoy doing.
They might bike ride, play in the park, attend an event, work on homework, or
simply talk. At times, they might join other Aunts and Uncles and children for
a group outing to a ball game, museum or picnic.

The IWFL is a North American woman's tackle football league. The league is
a non-profit organization comprised of teams across North America including
teams in New York, New Hampshire, Texas, Massachusetts, Oklahoma, Oregon,
Florida, Montreal and more. The league's second season opens in April 2002.

The Bay State Warriors were voted into the IWFL in December 2001. The team
will play a spring season as part of the East Coast division. Wilson is the
